Anticipated Games

There’s nothing to do but wait until next season. Let’s take our waiting to the next level. Here are some games, now that the schedule is released, that I’m most looking forward to:

  • October 2, @ Chicago
Opening night in the Madhouse. If I need to say more, stop reading now.
  • October 16, vs. New York Rangers
First chance at payback against the rags. First game between the two as divisional siblings. I’m already mad.
  • November 1, @ Philadelphia
First tango with the candy-corns as divisional siblings. Message sending is needed here.
  • November 15, @ Detroit
Welcome back to the East, Detroit. Initiation hazing is needed here.
  • November 20, vs. Pittsburgh
Crosby, we have that Hart trophy that was yours by all accounts. Come get it.
  • December 10, vs. Tampa Bay
Stamkos, you’re not better than Ovechkin. You’ll be reminded of that on this day.
  • March 1, @ Boston
Beantown, I still reminisce about that playoff series two seasons ago. Let’s hope this game ends the same way.
  • March 10-11, vs. Pittsburgh & @ Pittsburgh
Back to back games against the perennial preseason favorites, also the last two meetings of the regular season between these two. Big test to kickoff the final month of the regular season.
  • April 13, vs. Tampa Bay
Playoffs begin after this day. Also, this is the last game of Tampa’s season.

Let’s go Caps.
