Gio Gonzalez is working in rehab stints as well as simulated pitching. He is continuing to move forward and get closer to 100%. He is throwing with the same force that the Nationals are accustomed to.
The Washington Nationals and MLB had their 40 round draft finish up yesterday. The Nationals brought back an iconic name that is surrounded by legacy and an iron mentality; Cal Ripken Jrs, son, Ryan Ripken in the 15th round. Their draft also focused on pitching.
Lately, in the news, the Redskins name has been coming up for a different reason than football. The use of the name “Redskin” is being pushed as a racial slur and groups have been pushing for the Redskins to change their name to a more politically correct definition.
The draft is over, although free agency is still up and running. Teams are beginning to asses their teams through OTAs and what their needs may still be. See what the 5 top needs for the Redskins are.
