Bruce Boudreau was seen at Pittsburgh Steelers camp on Monday and also made an appearance at The Garden’s Ice House in Laurel to guest coach at Craig Laughlin‘s Network Hockey Camp. Boudreau is a former head coach of the Washington Capitals and current coach for the Anaheim Ducks. Toting Ducks gear he asked a predominantly Capitals fan base if there were any Ducks fans there. Paul Bissonnsttee took the ALS challenge to the next level yesterday and today, the Washington Capitals are still eying on Bissonnette. Bissonnette was with the Phoenix Coyotes for the past 5 years and would look to be on the 4th line as the Capitals enforcer if signed. It is actually reported that the Capitals and Bissonnette are close to a deal. Waiting games are always fun. [The Fourth period]
Peter Bondra was and is considered to be one of the Capitals greats, as he should be. He holds records in many franchise category to include goals (472) and points (825). To keep the ALS challenge in full swing and providing awareness to others, Alex Ovechkin took the plunge yesterday as well.
