Happy Thursday Everyone. Here are your daily links for the Washington Capitals.

If you are in the market for a place and are in the Chicago area, Troy Brouwer is selling his penthouse condominium at Roscoe Village.  With two outdoor spaces, a rooftop deck, surround sound throughout and 42 in walnut cabinets, who wouldn’t want to live there.  Only real issue is that it is in Chicago.  Brouwer was traded to the Washington Capitals from Chicago back in 2011.  Brouwer is now looking to unload his former Chi-town residence.  [Chicago Tribune]

The Capitals were fairly active this offseason, but were they active enough.  There is still talk about a trade involving Troy Brouwer or rumors of Mike Green leaving.  Also the possibility of Paul Bissonnette landing a spot on this team. Is it or has it been enough movement and change during the offseason to warrant a change from their history of making the playoffs but nothing really to show for it.  bleacher Report lookeda t the top ten teams that still need changes in 2014 to be successful. The NHL has decided to make changes to the NHL Lottery Draft.  I have never understood the lottery draft.  The worst team should have the top pick, now with the changes that are coming, by 2016 the team with the fewest point, the worst team, could end up having the 4th overall pick rather than that of the first over all pick.  [Washington Post]
