The Washington Capitals schedule has been out for sometime now, but they have just released their television schedule. The Capitals and Comcast SportsNet Mid Atlantic will cover a total of 75 games this year including the Winter Classic, which still doesn’t have a home. The coverage will include 70 regular season games and 5 preseason games which is a record high. The first and second preseason games against the Buffalo Sabres and the Philadelphia Flyers are set to be televised; Sept 21st and 22nd. [Comcast]
Hersey Bears defenseman Mike Moore, may be new to the organization; as of July 1st, but he has some roots already with the Washington Capitals. Having played for former assistant coaches within the organization as well as playing with Michale Latta before he was traded to Washington, Moore is set and ready to go for the season. Evgeny Kuznetsov began to get comfortable last season when he came up for a couple of games for the Washington Capitals. As he played there was a rise in his comfort level. With a new season set to begin and no determination on the 2nd line center, it is between both Marcus Johansson as well as Evgeny Kuznetsov.
