Washington Capitals Morning Briefing: Caps Beat Bruins, Kuznetsov First Star, and More

The Washington Capitals pulled out a victory at home Wednesday night over the Boston Bruins and remained at the top of both the Eastern Conference and the entire NHL. Alex Ovechkin played a big role in Wednesday’s win.

Before the game, it was announced that center Evgeny Kuznetsov was named the league’s First Star of January.

In other news, there’s been talk about wether or not NHL players are going to participate in the 2018 Olympics. Also, CSN Mid-Atlantic takes a look at what has gone wrong recently on Washington’s penalty kill.
