There are just over three weeks until training camp and there is excitement surrounding the Washington Capitals 2019-20 season.

The Washington Capitals 2019-20 season is much closer than you think. The rookies will head to Nashville for a tournament that begins on Thursday September 5th. One week later is the kickoff of training camp. In the meantime players are gearing up for the new season.

There are a few new faces and lots of returners to keep an eye on this season. We’ve talked about a bunch of them this summer. We’ve taken a look at the future up in Hershey and across the organizational depth chart. We’ve taken trips down memory lane to look back on legends and memorable games.

The Capitals had a successful draft and free agency where they signed some new faces, made some trades, and said goodbye to a few players that will always be a part of the legacy with their names engraved on the 2018 Stanley Cup.
