It will be a big game on Wednesday night. Two of the eastern conference elites will go head to head as the Boston Bruins go to D.C. to play the Washington Capitals.

It’s the NHL’s top two teams in the league with Boston at the top of the Atlantic division by eleven points (20-5-6) and the Washington Capitals leading the Metro division by seven points (22-5-5).

The Capitals just had a six game win streak snapped by the Columbus Blue Jackets, they’re still 7-2-1 in their last ten games. The Bruins have lost three games in a row, the last two in regulation (against Colorado and on the road to Ottawa). Before those losses however they had a thirteen game point streak, they won nine of those games while losing the other four in overtime or a shootout.

It’s two great teams with plenty of talented players. Here are some players to watch for when the two eastern giants battle on Wednesday night.

Starting with the visitors.
