Alex Ovechkin has scored in two straight games so life is back to normal. In fact, he’s got three goals in two games. He also scored against the Seattle Kraken, marking an occasion where he has scored a goal against every NHL team. 17 of which he scored in his first career game against that particular opponent, including the Kraken.

Ovechkin has 15 goals this season, tied for second in the NHL. With 745 career goals, Ovechkin now trails Jaromir Jagr by 21 goals for third on the NHL’s all time list.

Ovechkin now sits at 1,350 career points with 745 goals and 605 assists, which passed Mats Sundin for the 28th most points in NHL history. Ovechkin is now five points shy of passing both Guy Lafleur (1,353) and Brendan Shanahan (1,354) for the 26th most points in NHL history.

Ovechkin is additionally three power play goals shy of passing Dave Andreychuk (274 power play goals) for the most power play goals in NHL history. Ovechkin has recorded 19 points during five on five play this season, which ranks first in the NHL.
