Today we’ll look at the Washington Capitals December schedule. Here is the October schedule and November schedule breakdown in case you’ve missed it.

The Caps will open the month of December on the road for four straight games beginning on Thursday the first against Andre Burakovsky and the Seattle Kraken who are new and now improved.

The road trip continues with a big game against the Calgary Flames who are also stacked and improved. On Dec. 5 they’ll take on the Edmonton Oilers. The road trip concludes on the 7th against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Then on the 9th the Kraken come to DC. The 11th the Caps are at the Winnipeg Jets. The 13th they’re at the Chicago Blackhawks and basically there’s a Caps game every other day for like two weeks.

On the 15th the Caps will host the Dallas Stars which is the first of three out of their final four games before Christmas that are on home ice. On the 17th they’ll host the Toronto Maple Leafs.

On the 19th they’ll welcome the Detroit Red Wings. The Caps will then play a back to back home and away on Dec. 22 at the Ottawa Senators and Dec. 23 at home against the Jets.

The month of December will conclude with three games, two out of three at home. The lone road game is in Manhattan on Dec. 27 against the New York Rangers and the month ends with home games on the 29th against the Senators and on New Years Eve against the Montreal Canadiens.

As far as games to watch in the month of December, the two road games to watch is the one in early December against the Flames and the one after Christmas against the Rangers. The best home game of the month comes on the 17th against the Maple Leafs.

Now it’s time for predictions. Caps fall to the Kraken, Flames, and Oilers on the road before beating the Flyers, Kraken, Jets, Blackhawks, and Stars on the road.

The Caps also beat the Maple Leafs by a crazy final of like 10-9. Jakub Vrana will get revenge on his old team on the 19th. The Caps will rebound against the Senators and Jets.

The Caps will fall to the Rangers but end the most with wins over the Senators and Canadiens. So doing the math that comes out to a 10-5-0 record. Check back tomorrow as we break down the month of January.
