After two exciting wins on home ice, the Washington Capitals hit the road for a brief stop in Florida.

The Washington Capitals carry an 11-2-3 record with 25 points, tops in all of the NHL. The Florida Panthers are 7-3-4 with 18 points, sitting at first in the Eastern Conference Wild Card after an offseason where they made the splashes of signing free agents Sergei Bobrovsky and Brett Connolly.

The red hot Capitals look to win their fifth game in a row and they’ve been stellar on the road all season including earning at least a point in their last six away games, going 5-0-1 in that stretch.
