The Washington Capitals won their first game of the season on Saturday and tonight against the Vancouver Canucks they’ll go for their second win. They’ll face off against their former coach Bruce Boudreau who goes for his 600th career win behind the bench tonight.

Tonight is the final game of a quick two game homestand where the Caps will don their W third jerseys that are navy blue. We are still awaiting what the reverse retro and stadium series jerseys will look like as the Caps wear a team record five jerseys this season.

The Caps will finish off the month of October with five of their next six games on the road. For three straight games the Caps have given up the games first goal but unlike the first two games, the Caps answered with three unanswered goals. They’ll look to continue the good momentum tonight.
