The Washington Capitals face a must win scenario against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday in Game 5. Here’s how you can watch the game online via live stream.

The Washington Capitals are officially on notice. In Game 4, the Pittsburgh Penguins were able to pull off a 3-2 win over the Caps despite not having their captain Sidney Crosby. This puts the Pens up 3-1 in the series. For the Caps, Game 5, which will be held at the Verizon Center in Washington DC starting at 7:15 p.m. ET, is a must win game for the sake of the franchise.

Pittsburgh has had Washington’s number throughout the series. Despite not having Kris Letang, the Pens have been dominating where it matters – on the scoreboard. While the Caps have the advantage in shot attempts in each game, it hasn’t mattered because they haven’t been able to execute properly. This must change in Game 5.

More from Stars and Sticks

The Washington Capitals face arguably the most important game in franchise history. A loss could mean a ton of changes, as this is likely the best chance Alex Ovechkin and the Caps have of winning the Stanley Cup. From here on out, every remaining game in the series is the most important game in their history.
