The Washington Capitals are back on the road after dropping two overtime games on home ice.

One opponent and one venue will present a solid challenge. The Nashville Predators come in having won two of their first three games including a 5-2 win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night. The Washington Capitals, despite dropping the last two games, have earned a point in each of their four games.

The Capitals dropped both games against the Predators in each of the last two seasons. All-time the record between the two teams is pretty much even. The Capitals are 13-13-1-2 lifetime.

The Capitals played well despite coming up short to the Stars and they’ll look to carry that effort tonight for a full 60-minutes to come away with two points.
