John Carlson

Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry: John Carlson is on a mission to win the Norris Trophy and he chose an oldie that played off his first name as we cheer him on. Go Johnny Go! 5/5

T.J. Oshie

Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver: T.J. Oshie‘s song choice is a popular singalong song easily recognized by Caps fans. When Oshie was given the aux cord on a team trip in late Ocober, he chose this song and watched as his teammates sang along. 5/5

Oshie talked more on the goal songs to Samantha Pell of The Washington Post:

"“I think it’s awesome. I think it’s cool for the guys to express themselves a little bit and a way to get the crowd into it, and you know with what the Nats did with the one song in particular over there, I think it’s a cool thing.”"

Evgeny Kuznetsov

Get Low by Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz: To the window, to the wall! Evgeny Kuznetsov went with a rap song. His choice was originally confused with How Low by Ludacris but he corrected it right away. 5/5
