Top 3 ways the Washington Capitals can have another championship season.

Well, we’re waiting for another Washington Capitals season. We usually are talking about one and are well into it this time of year. This upcoming season likely won’t start until January but we have a hunch it can be another championship season. But in order for that to happen there are three things that have to happen.

Back in 2018, the Capitals had it all together. Everyone from the top to the bottom of the lineup contributed including the black aces and the impact everyone had was the ingredient to winning the Stanley Cup. It started from the top with Barry Trotz.

It continued among the players from Alex Ovechkin to Evgeny Kuznetsov to Braden Holtby rising to the occasion. Man, that team was something. We hope this upcoming edition of the Caps can rekindle the magic of that team and just like back then it’ll start from the top with Peter Laviolette at the helm.

The Caps also made a few moves at free agency looking to upgrade their defense and solidify their goaltending rotation. We’ll break down everything right here. Let’s begin to break down the team inside and out.
