#1 Alex Ovechkin

If anybody on this team deserves the best Christmas it’s Alex Ovechkin and his family. Ovechkin is coming off a 48 goal season in 68 games. The reason he didn’t play in the full 69 was because he was suspended one game for skipping the all star game, kind of an annual traditon at this point.

Can Ovechkin continue to score at a torrid pace so he can break Wayne Gretzky’s record? That’s the biggest question we have entering this season and if he can score at least 30 in a 56 game season he should be alright.
