Washington Capitals: Top 3 players that deserve coal on Christmas

Three players we’d love to give coal to.

I’m not Santa Claus but Washington Capitals fans and players would agree with me on these following three players that deserve coal. These guys are villains to the people of D.C. and probably got coal in their stockings for what they did.

Who would you dish out coal to if you were Santa. We all know the one obvious answer but there’s other guys too that deserve it. We’ll highlight three of the worst of the worst.

If they got coal this Christmas, the one good thing they at least have is the return of hockey in a couple of weeks. Some of these guys we’ll see this season.

#3 Brad Marchand

Brad Marchand licks his opponents. That’s bad enough. What’s worse is that he will deliver cheap shots to his opponents or fight them, like he did with Lars Eller, just totally unprompted. Eller wasn’t ready.

When they met again a few months later, Eller was ready for a rematch but Marchand whimped out and didn’t agree to the fight.

The Caps will see the Boston Bruins eight times this season. Those games will certainly be a lot of fun. Stay tuned fans.
