The Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins square off tonight in a series tied at one game apiece. Both teams won in overtime with the Caps taking Game 1 and the Bruins taking Game 2. We know you have a lot of questions and we’ll try our best to answer them here.

The Caps held a morning skate today at TD Garden. Lars Eller, Ilya Samsonov, and Evgeny Kuznetsov were all on the ice for morning skate. Vitek Vanecek was not. Eller was hurt midway through Game 2 with a lower body injury. T.J. Oshie was not on the ice.

Anyways sorry to disappoint you guys but none of the beat reporters tweeted the lines from morning skate. Samantha Pell of The Washington Post did note however that Daniel Sprong, Connor McMichael (who was just called up from Hershey as a black ace), Martin Fehervary, and Trevor van Riemsdyk got extra work after the skate.

Another reason we can’t give you lineups right now is Peter Laviolette sounded very mysterious in his Zoom press conference. He said the team is working through some things and won’t reveal who’s in and who’s out. Anybody that loves pregame suspense got their wish.

The Caps dropped Game 2 after blowing a lead late in the third period. The Caps got good games offensively with a goal from Oshie and a two goal game for Garnet Hathaway. Taylor Hall tied it late in the third period and Brad Marchand won the game in overtime.

Washington Capitals highlights: Garnet Hathaway scores twice in overtime loss. light. More

Can the Caps bounce back from Game 2 and take the lead in the series? What will the lineups ultimately look like? Here’s how to find out:
