The Washington Capitals will look to bounce back from an overtime loss to the Calgary Flames on Monday night when they head north of the border to take on the Ottawa Senators. Here’s everything you need to know on how to watch the game, plus notes from morning skate.

Evgeny Kuznetsov is on fire and now he needs just three points to pass Scott Stevens for 12th on the Capitals franchise points list. He’s recorded nine points in the first five games of the season with four goals and five assists. He’s just one shy of Alex Ovechkin (five goals and five assists) for the team lead.

Samantha Pell of The Washington Post reported from morning skate that Nic Dowd (day to day, lower body injury) did not travel with the team to Ottawa. That means both Connor McMichael and Hendrix Lapierre will both be in the lineup tonight. Ilya Samsonov will get the start in goal.

Head coach Peter Laviolette said tonight was a planned start for Samsonov. He went into the game on Saturday after the first period when Vitek Vanecek allowed three goals. The Caps had an optional morning skate but here were the lines and defensive pairs from Sunday’s practice:

Ovechkin-Kuznetsov-Wilson
Mantha-McMichael-Oshie
Sheary-Lapierre-Sprong
Hagelin-Eller-Hathaway

Fehervary-Carlson
