There’s nothing easy about a four game losing streak especially one that is facing the Washington Capitals right now. So what are some easy games coming up this month that the Caps could possibly chalk up some wins?

Well, they got the New York Islanders coming up this Saturday. Although they’re in last place there’s nothing easy about facing that team. Then they host the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday who have turned things around under their new coach and former Caps bench boss Bruce Boudreau.

Although the Islanders always pose a challenge, though, they do make the cut in this list and not just because they might be without Barry Trotz for the foreseeable future.

This is a game the Caps have to win to snap their streak. Trotz always knows what’s up and how to beat the Caps but now they’re without him due to COVID protocol. But Trotz is dealing with his worst season as the Islanders bench boss.

The Islanders are in last place in the Metropolitan Division with an 11-12-6 record. The silver lining for them is that they’ve won three in a row. This will also be the Caps first time in the Islanders new barn.
