We’re over halfway through the season and it’s time to celebrate the game’s best players. It’s 2022 NHL All Star weekend in Las Vegas. Representing the Washington Capitals will be Evgeny Kuznetsov and Tom Wilson. Alex Ovechkin got voted in too but he tested positive for COVID.

The All Star Game is presented by Honda and hosted by the Vegas Golden Knights. First up is the 2022 NHL All Star Skills competition tonight and then the game itself on Saturday afternoon. Kuznetsov will be competing in the fastest skater competition while Wilson will do the hardest shot.

Since 2016, the last time Kuznetsov was in the All Star Game, the league has changed the format to three on three in a tournament by division. So the Caps will be teammates with some Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers. How lovely.
