#1 Kuznetsov will score, lacrosse style

It’s time for Evgeny Kuznetsov to get rewarded with a goal like this. One that’s lacrosse style where he totally fakes out everyone and the goalie, putting the puck at the bottom of his stick and flipping it in. It can be done too.

Kuznetsov had a rough summer as he was the subject of trade rumors. Some Caps fans wanted him gone and NHL pundits thought they would do just that. Why not do a lacrosse style goal to show how stupid the haters were?

Kuznetsov ranks among the top 20 in the NHL in assists with 31 and 45 points to go along with 14 goals. Of those 14 goals, Kuznetsov has yet to have one lacrosse style. Let’s change that tomorrow.

Kuznetsov didn’t get voted in but I’m sure he did get some votes. He’s replacing New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox. Wilson on the other hand is replacing Alex Ovechkin due to COVID.

Having Wilson and Kuznetsov represent the Washington Capitals this weekend for the All Star festivities is great for the team especially considering they both started out with the Caps in the 2013-14 season. It’s going to be fun seeing what they do in front of the entire hockey world.
