Ovechkin has 18 goals in his last 22 games and a three game goal and point streak with four goals and one assist. His 50 goal season this year was his ninth which tied Mike Bossy and Wayne Gretzky for the most in NHL history.

Since March 1, the Capitals have converted on 29 percent of their power play opportunities and have killed 85.7 percent of their penalties, ranking fourth and third, respectively.
