#1 The pressure is on the Panthers

The Panthers now have all the pressure in the world facing them as the President’s Trophy winners are one loss away from having their backs against the wall. Even if they were to win Game 4, the Caps know what they need to do to follow through on my prediction of them winning in six.

Here’s a quote from the other side, Jonathan Huberdeau:

"“I think we’ve got to just stick to our game plan. I think we’re playing a little nervous. We’re not playing the game that we should play, and I think we’re a way better team. Obviously, tonight happened and we’ve just got to forget about it. That’s playoffs. We’re down 2-1, and next game’s going to be important, especially being here.”"

Florida averaged 4.11 goals per game in the regular season, the league’s highest scoring team since 1995-96. But in two out of three games, the Caps have limited them to two or fewer goals while outscoring them overall 11-8.

Florida coach Andrew Burnette added:

"“So far, the story written right now is that they’ve outcompeted us right now, outwilled [us], pretty much in every puck battle, every area. It’s something we’re going to have to figure out here.”"

Overall, we have them right where we want them. Tomorrow should be a lit Game 4 in DC. Caps fans, you’ve got to bring it.
