#3 Danila Yurov

Danila Yurov is 18 years old and is listed at six foot one and 179 pounds. Like Ilya Samsonov back in the day, Yurov is getting his start in the KHL with the Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Mike G. Morreale said this about Yurov on NHL.com:

"Yurov is a smart, hard-working, two-way forward with good vision and a high compete level in all three zones. He’s under contract in the KHL for at least one more season but taking a chance on him here could be a smart value move."

There were also some good things said about him on Elite Prospects. EPR Rinkside said:

"He is a strong skater, proficient at reading the ice to find open space and then attacking it. Nice of skill, strength, and shooting."

Draftin Europe added:

"Strong skating and good puck protection.. Tough to handle when given space to rush down the wing"

Yurov is a right winger. With the U16 Metallurg team in 2018-19 he had 25 goals and 35 assists for 60 points. This past season he split time between the KHL and the Stalnye List Magnitogorsk of the MHL. In the MHL he had 13 goals and 23 assists for 36 points. He would be a good void to fill in for Tom Wilson.
