The Washington Capitals host the Detroit Red Wings tonight in the penultimate preseason game. That is the last game before the preseason finale on Saturday night. We’ve got rosters, plus TV and radio information ready to go.

Per Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington, Mantha is not expected to play tonight due to the birth of his child last night. He did, however, participate in the team’s optional skate at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

Per Samantha Pell of The Washington Post, the scratches for tonight’s game look like Erik Gustafsson, Matt Irwin, Brett Leason, Nic Dowd, Axel Jonsson Fjallby, Mantha, and Marcus Johansson.

Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette told the media that Darcy Kuemper will play the entire game. This will be his first full game of the preseason so we’ll get to really see him in action in front of the home crowd.
