The Washington Capitals look to bounce back from a 2-0 loss the other night to the Dallas Stars tonight against the Nashville Predators in the third game of their four game road trip.

Tonight is the first of two meetings between the two teams this season. Washington is 15-15-1-2 all time against Nashville. Last season the Capitals won the season series by sweeping them 2-0-0 and outscoring the Predators 9-4. John Carlson led the Capitals with five points in those two games with one goal and four assists.
