The Washington Capitals continue their season long six game road trip at the Vancouver Canucks looking to bounce back from a 5-1 loss on Saturday night to the New Jersey Devils.
In that 5-1 loss the Caps didn’t play terrible they just got outshined by their former net minder Vitek Vanecek in his revenge game.

Tonight’s game is the second and final meeting between the teams this season. The Capitals beat the Canucks 6-4 on Oct. 17 at Capital One Arena, overcoming a two goal third period deficit with four unanswered goals.
Alex Ovechkin recorded four points in the comeback win with two goals and two assists while Evgeny Kuznetsov registered three third period assists including his 500th career point.
