The Washington Capitals make their fourth stop on the six game road trip tonight against the Calgary Flames. It’s a rematch from Black Friday where the Capitals won 3-0 on home ice.

In that game, Evgeny Kuznetsov, T.J. Oshie, and Alex Ovechkin provided the scoring while Darcy Kuemper delivered a shutout with 32 saves. It was his fourth shutout in 10 career starts against Calgary.

Tonight is the second and final meeting between the teams this season. The Caps are 43-43-13-3 all time against Calgary and have earned at least one point in seven straight games against the Flames, going 6-0-1.

In addition, the Capitals are 6-1-0 in their last seven games at Scotiabank Saddledome dating back to the 2014-15 season.

The Capitals held an optional morning skate before the game. Per Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette, Dmitry Orlov will once again be OUT of the lineup tonight as he has a lower body injury and is on injured reserve.
