The Washington Capitals are back home and will host the Seattle Kraken tonight. The Caps last faced the Kraken on their season long six game road trip where they fell 3-2 in overtime after getting out to a 2-0 lead.

Martin Fehervary and Conor Sheary scored in regulation for the Caps while Alex Ovechkin recorded two assists. The Caps are 1-1-1 all time against the Kraken and 1-0-0 at Capital One Arena. They enter tonight’s game on a two game winning streak.

There was some good news at Caps morning skate today at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. Tom Wilson skated with his teammates for the first time since ACL surgery in late May.

Dmitry Orlov was skating but appears to be out. He has missed the last 15 games with a lower body injury. Nicklas Backstrom was also out there with his teammates for the third time.
