The Washington Capitals and Seattle Kraken go head to head tonight. If there’s a good player to pick up in fantasy hockey it’s easily T.J. Oshie.

Oshie has been on fire lately with a two game point and goal streak. He’s been a big factor and had a massive impact in the Capitals last two wins as they look to go for three in a row tonight in front of the home fans in those reverse retro jerseys.

Evan Berofsky of Roto Wire and Yahoo Sports wrote this about the Oshbabe:

"Oshie has missed time due to injuries in recent seasons, and this year is no different, as he’s already missed 11 games due to a lower-body issue. The soon-to-be 36-year-old can still produce and has been solid since returning with six points, 23 shots, 25 hits and 11 PIM in eight contests. Oshie remains a power-play fixture, and that’s where five of his 11 points have come. He’s seen his shooting percentage slip the last two campaigns, but he can be relied on for a decent number of goals and shots thanks to his favorable lineup placement."

Oshie was skating on the second line at morning skate today with Sonny Milano and Evgeny Kuznetsov. That will probably be where he is in the lineup tonight.

Oshie has five goals and six assists for 11 points in 17 games. Before the injury he had two goals and three assists for five points. After the injury, Oshie has recorded six points with three goals and three assists.

Having Oshie back is huge for this Capitals team that is very banged up as it is. And it seems like they keep getting banged up as more injuries happen.

While Oshie has a gifted offensive talent, it’s his heart and soul that he puts into the game that is impactful in the locker room. He’ll look for another strong game against the city he was born in.
