Tonight is the first time this season the Washington Capitals take on the New York Islanders. They’ll do it at somewhat new UBS Arena.

Alex Ovechkin scored the lone goal of the game on Saturday for the Caps. It was his 30th goal of the season. He reached the 30 goal mark for the 17th time in his 18 year career, which tied former Capitals forward Mike Gartner for the most 30 goal seasons in NHL history.
