When Is The NHL All-Star Game?
The 2023 edition of the All-Star weekend takes place on February 3 and 4 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The skills competition on Friday will air on ESPN, with Saturday’s All-Star Game airing on ABC.
In fact, the NHL just announced what the skills competition will entail. Four events are returning, with three new events being added to the fold.
- NHL Breakaway Challenge: A trick shot competition featuring judges
- NHL Hardest Shot: Determining which player has the hardest slapshot
- NHL Fastest Skater: A two-round race around the ice
- NHL Accuracy Shooting: Four destructible targets, eight players competing
- Splash Shot: Played on the beach, players will compete to hit every target before sinking their opponents in a dunk tank
- Pitch ‘n Puck: Six players will compete in this hockey-golf hybrid
- Tendy Tandem: Goalie on goalie crime as goalies will get the chance to score goals against their All-Star companions
