Capitals vs. Senators: Date, Time, Betting Odds, Streaming, More
The Washington Capitals hit the road for the first time this season. Their first stop is in Ottawa where the Caps will take on the Senators. The Caps will have a different look to their lineup based on the rushes from Tuesday’s practice in Arlington before they departed north.
First just note that John Carlson and Nic Dowd were absent at practice taking a maintenance day. Charlie Lindgren is day to day with an upper body injury.
Here were what the lines were via Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post:
Ovechkin-Strome-Wilson
McMichael-Kuznetsov-Oshie
Milano-Backstrom-Phillips
Malenstyn-Protas-Mantha
Sandin-Alexeyev
Fehervary-TVR
Johansen-Jensen
So yeah it looks like a bit of a shakeup as the Caps look for their first 60 minute game. The most notable is the center position. You got Nicklas Backstrom moving to the third line and Dylan Strome moving to the top line.
From the first line and the second line it’s a rotation between Tom Wilson and T.J. Oshie. Wilson moves to the top while Oshie moves to the second line.
