Golden Knights vs. Capitals: Date, Time, Betting Odds, Streaming, More
The Washington Capitals are back in action after a successful weekend road trip. Tonight presents a big test as they host the Vegas Golden Knights. The Caps sit at third place in the Metropolitan Division with a 7-4-2 record and 16 points. The Golden Knights are first in the Pacific Division with a 12-2-1 record with 25 points.
The Caps held an optional morning skate at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. Anthony Mantha was on the ice in a non contact jersey. Joel Edmundson and Trevor van Riemsdyk practiced in non contact jerseys. The latter two aren’t ready to return yet but they are close. All three skaters took the scratch’s skate.
Charlie Lindgren is expected to get the nod in goal while Darcy Kuemper will back up. Kuemper is coming off an undisclosed ailment. Spencer Carbery said in regards to Mantha, Edmondson and TvR that they were all out but “all three are real close. They’re right there of potentially playing next game.”

Martin Fehervary is still out with a lower body injury. He’s unlikely to play in the next game which will be Saturday at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He could resume skating soonish after that.
