#1 Ryan Reaves

After we covered Sidney Crosby and Mitchell Miller, this kids table wouldn’t be complete without Ryan Reaves. Not a Stanley Cup champion but he got to sit in the press box and watch his buddy Tom Wilson lift the Stanley Cup as a healthy scratch for the Vegas Golden Knights.

The latest team Reaves is now on is the Toronto Maple Leafs. In 14 games he’s had zero goals, zero assists, and zero points and a plus minus of minus 11. He averaged just 7:32 minutes of ice time and hasn’t seen the ice since Nov. 10. Since then, Reaves has served as a healthy scratch.

Later in that year 2018 the Caps were back in Vegas for a regular season game with the Golden Knights. He laid out a blindside hit on Wilson and even autographed pictures of it. Along with his signature he wrote the sentence “he ran into a lion in the jungle”.

A few months later Reaves straight up said, “I just don’t like him. Hands down, I just don’t like the guy.”

Then in 2021 he signed with the New York Rangers and even told the team “I am the solution to your Tom Wilson problem” according to Jeff Marek.

What’s his deal with Tom Wilson anyway? I think people just hate Wilson because he’s so good looking.
