If you play fantasy hockey here are the Washington Capitals players you should start in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Kings.

Tom Wilson: While he has scored just one goal in his last five games, Wilson has registered four and seven shots his the Caps previous two games prior to Monday night’s defeat at the hands of the San Jose Sharks. He also averages nearly 19 minutes per game.

Wilson also averages nearly three hits per game and had nine total in those contests against the Buffalo Sabres and Edmonton Oilers.

Rasmus Sandin: A big piece of the trade deadline last season, Sandin has been huge for their defense and has gotten more than his fair share of ice time.

Nate Groot Nibbelink of of Yahoo Fantasy Sports said this about the defenseman:

"Sandin has not been a point producer (just four assists in 17 games played this season), but he’s skating a tremendous amount of minutes for the Capitals (23:34 ATOI on the season), including PP2.The Swedish blueliner also gets a boost in bangers-heavy formats as a blocking machine (2.41 blocks/game on the season) who also contributes in the hits category (one hit/game). I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sandin finally see some luck swing back his way in terms of point production, with the peripheral floor there to fall back on as well."

Charlie Lindgren: Tonight’s starting goaltender and the hot hand. Just forget the Black Friday game even happened. Although he allowed five goals on 35 shots in that infamous game against the Edmonton Oilers, Lindgren still has a .926 save percentage.

He has started in three of the Caps last four games and with this being the second of four games this week he should be in another game as well.

Lindgren has earned praise from first year head coach Spencer Carbery when he was thrusted into the starter’s role when Darcy Kuemper was out with injury. He has in turn provided value to fantasy players everywhere.
