The Washington Capitals take on the New York Rangers tonight. The Caps are coming off three straight losses, the latest set back being a shootout while the other two were just lopsided. Hendrix Lapierre was loaned to the Hershey Bears as the team activated T.J. Oshie off IR. He’s back tonight.

Max Pacioretty is still practicing in a non contact jersey but is ramping up his work. No timeline yet but Spencer Carbery said it’s “getting within two to three weeks from him playing.”

Charlie Lindgren will get the start tonight in goal as he faces his brother Ryan for the first time in his career in the NHL. Charlie hosted Ryan for dinner last night.
