The Washington Capitals take on the Carolina Hurricanes in the second game of their road back to back after a loss last night 3-1 to the Nashville Predators. The lone player who scored last night was T.J. Oshie and after a slow start to the season is currently on a two game point streak.

Oshie’s goal came on the power play at 5:16 in the second period for his second goal of the season. His first goal came against the Buffalo Sabres on Thanksgiving Eve, an overtime win. He also had an assist in the loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on a Tom Wilson power play goal. So two straight games with a PPG is one good thing the Caps have going for them.
