Alex Ovechkin has scored on 183 different goaltenders throughout his 20 year career on his way to 895 career goals and still counting. Here are the 28 who never allowed a goal by Ovechkin, something not many goalies who have played in the NHL can boast about.
Goalies who never allowed an Ovechkin goal
With the huge list of goalies Ovechkin has defeated, Budweiser Canada honored those rare few individuals who faced Ovechkin shots and stopped each one. They delivered commemorative "Kings of Zero" cans to those said goalies featuring the alcoholic free beverage Budweiser Zero.
The label on each can says, "The greatest goal scorer of all time couldn' score on you" and inlcudes jersey numbers that match each goalie that received it. The can even includes the number of shots the goalie saved and a goalie mask logo surrounded by text that says "nothing got past you."
Following Alex Ovechkin's record-breaking goal, @BudweiserCanada is honoring the 28 goalies who kept him off the scoreboard with #KingofZero commemorative cans. I love seeing some of the names on this list, including now-@NHLPA exec Rob Zepp. pic.twitter.com/9aPKrQ0kNs

Curtis Joseph was one of only three Vezina Trophy finalists on the list of 28 goaltenders. He played in just 5:57 of a game against the Caps and Ovechkin and had to make nine saves including on two shots from Ovechkin. He would post a video and so would others who received special cans.
At least five other goalies also posted video responses including Manny Legace and some videos were collected by the NHL Alumni Association. Only four goalies on the 28 on the list stopped more Ovechkin shots than the 14 by Legace.
Ovechkin's first game against Legace came in 2007 when he was goaltender on the St. Louis Blues and they met two more times a few years later when Legace was on the Carolina Hurricanes.
Joseph, Legace, and Mike Condon are no longer playing but 11 of the goalies listed below are still active and on an NHL roster. So they're not quite done facing Ovechkin yet.
Without futher ado here's the list with the names, games played, and shots saved from Ovechkin:
