Capitals GM willing to part with this forward after roster moves

The Washington Capitals were busy the last couple of weeks and are finished adding to their roster but are willing to part with a certain player if it makes sense.

Ivan Miroshnichenko

The other option is the Miroshnichenko. The young Russian was highly rated in his draft year of 2022 before he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The Caps drafted him with the 20th pick and supported him throughout his recovery. He has recovered well and has played well at the AHL level, where last year he was a part of Hershey’s topline alongside Ilya Protas and Andrew Cristall.

The Capitals have hopes that Miro become a 30-goal scorer in the NHL and have invested a lot into him. Still, if they are looking to move a player, Miro may be the most valuable out of the three. He would benefit going to a team where is given playing time, which could be difficult in Washington this coming season. But I doubt the Caps would give up on him after all they have invested in him.
