1996 Peter Nedved Pittsburgh

I worked late that night and after the restaurant closed, we headed back to my house to watch the overtimes. A coworker that had come back with us wasn’t a hockey fan but got hooked that night. After the third OT, everyone filed out and I took a coworker home. I came back and watched the fourth overtime alone and the Caps promptly lost when Petr Nedved finally scored to end the longest game in Caps history. The Caps would go on to lose the series 4 games to 2. I knew I should have make them all stay until it was over.
