The Capitals are taking on the Lightning tonight at 7:00 PM EST. The Capitals are coming off a very impressive 5-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. In that game, Alex Tuch delivered a two-goal performance, and Jakob Chychrun added 2 points. Logan Thompson was solid for the Capitals, allowing only 2 goals on 33 shots. Tampa is looking for its first win of the regular season, while the Capitals try to make it two wins in two days.

The projected lines for the Capitals in tonights game are:

Alex Tuch - Pierre-Luc Dubois - Tom Wilson

Alex Ovechkin - Dylan Strome - Ryan Leonard

Alaiksei Protas - Ilya Protas - Jordan Kyrou

Boone Jenner - Justin Sourdif - Anthony Beauvillier

Jakob Chychrun - Matt Roy

Cole Hutson - Vincent Desharnais

Martin Fehervary - Timothy Liljegren

Charlie Lindgren

Logan Thompson

The projected lines for the Lightning are:

Gage Goncalves - Brayden Point - Nikita Kucherov

Jake Guentzel - Anthony Cirelli - Brandon Hagel

Ilya Mikheyev - Zemgus Girgensons - Pontus Holmberg

Jeffrey Viel - Jansen Harkins - Conor Geekie

J.J. Moser - John Carlson

Ryan McDonagh - Erik Cernak

Victor Hedman - Emil Lilleberg

Andrei Vasilevskiy

Dennis Hildeby

The Capitals are using the same lineup as in yesterday's game, with the only change being that Charlie Lindgren is in goal instead of Logan Thompson. The Lightning will be without Dominic James (hand) and Yanni Gourde (hip), and they have scratched Scott Sabourin, Charle-Edouard D'Astous, and Max Crozier. The Capitals' scratches and injured players remain the same.

The Lightning will start Andrei Vasilevskiy in tonight's matchup as they look to get their first win of the season. If the Capitals can play like they did yesterday against the defending Stanley Cup champions, they can close out this game and remain undefeated this season.
