Earlier in the week Connor McMichael of the Washington Capitals was mentioned by Sean Allen of ESPN.com as the Caps stud has been the most added player among ESPN Fantasy. McMichael is currently at 74.6 percent, up 73.3 percent since the start of the season. He also was up 64 percent since the start of November.
McMichael has 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points this season and a plus/minus of plus nine while averaging 18 minutes of ice time per game.
Another player worth adding is Pierre-Luc Dubois as he's taken just 39.7 percent of his five on five face offs in the offensive zone, which is the second lowest rate among Capitals centers behind Nic Dowd who's at 15.4 percent.
Tonight the Capitals enter their game with a 21-8-2 record with 44 points, good for second place in the Metropolitan Division, three points ahead of their opponent tonigh the Carolina Hurricanes who are 20-10-1 with 41 points.
The first place New Jersey Devils have a 21-11-3 record with 45 points and have played in four more games than the Capitals and Hurricanes. Washington has an 8-4-0 record against the Metropolitan Division this season, good for a .667 point percentage.
That point percentage in intradivision games is the second highest among Metro teams. The Capitals have also won three straight divisional games dating back to Nov. 29, all of which have been decided by one goal.
