It's an opening night rematch tonight at Capital One Arena in the third meeting between the Caps and Devils this season.

The Washington Capitals are back in action on this Saturday night against the New Jersey Devils in their fourth meeting of the season. After dropping a 5-3 decision on opening night, the Caps rebounded a week later on a Tom Wilson overtime winner on Oct. 19 up in Newark. That would be the second of two for him and the goal came four minutes into the overtime.

Wilson also tacked on an assist against the Devils which is tied with Dylan Strome for three points. Strome has a goal and two assists. Connor McMichael added a goal and an assist for two points while Jakob Chychrun and Trevor van Riemsdyk had two assists in that victory on Oct. 19. The season series will conclude on Nov. 30 at Prudential Center.

The Caps are 128-80-13-18 all time against New Jersey and 15-3-3 against the Devils since the start of the 2020-21 season. in additon per the game notes, the caps have earned at least one point in eight of their last 11 home games against New Jersey with a 6-2-3 record.

As for the betting odds per Caesars, the Capitals are 1.5 goal underdogs as the Devils are favored with a moneyline of -140. The Caps are underdogs with +118. The over/under is set at 6.0 goals. The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Monumental Sports Network.
