On Tuesday though the Caps four game winning sreak is on the line after winning four games in six nights including three on the road. For the first time ever in the Caps 50 year old history, the Caps yielded four or more goals against in each of the last three games while also winning those three games.
In addition, Washington won all four games in comeback fashion and they did so with an imporved power play that has been hot for three weeks at 13 for 29 and 44.8 percent.
San Jose meanwhile has dropped nine straight games when the season began with an 0-7-2 mark and they've played to a good 9-6-3 since then. The Sharks have only won three of 14 road games with a 3-7-4 record but has earned a point in six of their last eight away games with a 3-2-3 record.
The Capitals are 1.5 goal favorites per Caesars with -305 moneyline odds. The Sharks are the underdogs at -305 and the game is set at an over/under of 6.5 goals. Once again puck drop is at 7 p.m. on Monumental Sports Network if you are unable to attend tonight.
