The Capitals held a practice at Climate Pledge Arena on Wednesday afernoon and Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery confirmed to assembled media that Charlie Lindgren will get the nod in net. It'll be his first start since Jan. 10 as he's backed up Logan Thompson the last two games. His injury came on home ice against the Montreal Canadiens.

Carbery also watched the tape of last night's game and talked about the fan who threw nachos on the ice that led to an Edmonton Oilers goal. While the Caps won the game, Thompson himself wasn't happy about the fan interferance or nachogate as they're calling it on social media.

"I got the blue line camera of the nacho throw. Got the full visual. It was actually pretty impressive that they stayed in the tray as they went over."

Alex Ovechkin has recorded a point in five of the six games he has played against the Kraken with three goals and six assists for nine points.

The betting odds per Caesars have the Capitals as 1.5 goal favorites with -145 moneyline odds. The Kraken are the underdog at +122. The over/under is set at 5.5 goals.
