The Washington Capitals take on the Ottawa Senators tonight and once again you should add Aliaksei Protas and Pierre-Luc Dubois to your fantasy lineup if you play.

Don't just take our word for it either. Here's what Jason Chen of The Hockey News had to say about the duo:

"It's a bit of a risky play because it's either shut out the Sens or get shut out by the Sens. Dubois, however, is on a tear with four goals and six points in his past five games. The Capitals are girding out wins, so this might be a low scoring affair. That's the only real risk for an otherwise solid multi category contributor. Protas is also on fire with a five game points streak with three goals and three assists. He's formed a productive duo on the second line with Dubois. This could be a nice stack if you have room. "

PLD has 40 points in 50 games with 11 goals and 29 assists. Protas has been on a tear since the start of the season as he's recorded 21 goals and 21 assists for 42 points. These two have been a big reason why the Caps are where they are atop the NHL standings. Washington ranks first in the NHL in goals against per game at 2.34 and goals for per game at 3.48.

The Capitals are tied for second in the NHL in five on five goals with 115. Washington ranks first in the NHL in goals against per game at 2.34 this season as well as road goals against per game at 2.27. The Capitals have allowed two or fewer goals against in eight consecutive games. The team has given up a total of 11 goals in their last 10 games, going 8-1-1 in that stretch.

The Capitals, who have allowed the fewest third period goals in the NHL this season with 30, are 22-1-1 when leading after two periods. Puck drop is tonight at 7 p.m. on Monumental Sports Network 2.
