The Washington Capitals are slated to take on the San Jose Sharks tonight at 7 p.m. on Monumental Sports Network from Capital One Arena. If you play fantasy hockey you should easily start Pierre-Luc Dubois on your lineup and here's why.

PLD so far this season has three goals and 13 assists in 24 games along with 35 shots and a plus/minus of +2. Here's what Corey Abbott of RotoWire coutesy of Yahoo Fantasy Sports said about PLD in his Fanasy Hockey Waiver Wire Targets:

"Dubois has two goals and nine points in his last 11 outings following a rocky start to the season. His career low 8.6 shooting percentage has begun to correct itself, as he has scored twice on seven shots in his past six games. Dubois has chipped in 13 assists, 16 points, 35 shots, 22 blocks and 24 hits through 24 appearances this campaign. He hasn't been a standout performer, but he can still provide decent category coverage during Washington's three game week versus San Jose, Toronto and Montreal"

PLD was a big gamble over the summer as the Caps acquired him from the Los Angles Kings and chose to send Darcy Kuemper along with the deal. Former General Manager Brian MacLellan potentially along with the new and current General Manager Chris Patrick saw something in him that the other teams didn't.

"You can't say enough good things about the guy. He's come in and he's played some really good hocey for us," goaltender Charlie Lindgren said to Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

On the ice he can provide the physical presence but more importantely he can take good care of the puck. He also showed he's a team player pointing out to Silber, "Everybody loves to score, but everybody loves to win and play well even better."

Tom Wilson, PLD's linemate, simply said, "He's a machine." Wilson would later add in the same story that "He's a great guy off the ice."

Lindgren also added on the play of PLD, "I love his game, I love his grit. We got guys that want to win hockey games."

Matt Roy played with Dubois as a member of the Los Angeles Kings and the Caps acquired him over the summer as well to shore up the defense. Roy would say this about PLD, "He's a really great guy and he's a really great player. Just off the ice and in the locker room, he's a great guy and a great teammate."
